Although Spring doesn't officially arrive for two more weeks, I decided to take a few photos of the boys and post them. I had bought a new camera after Christmas and have been working on getting used to it, trying out all the features ect. Of course the boys get tired of posing after a while, they were troopers today and let me take a few. You can tell, on a few of them, that I wasn't using the right feature and the lighting looks a little weird, but overall I thought they turned out great. I am also posting a few pics of my friend's first baby, my friend, Angie is also my boss at work, and I am keeping her baby for her a couple days of week...and she hadn't had any professional ones taken of her in a while, so I took some for her and she loved them. Spring time is coming soon and I can't wait!!! I sure love winter but am always so ready for warm weather. I have been really enjoying playing like I am a photographer...and I will never again pay to have someone take our pics...I

We had a wonderful Christmas this year and celebrated Christmas Eve at Uncle Dennis and Aunt Bonnie's house. Although we missed quite a few family members (Greg, Sandy and boys, Cary, Melissa and boys, and Stephanie), we had a good dinner and enjoyed being with the family that was here. I am posting quite a few pictures from Christmas Eve party, and Christmas morning at our house, then Gigi and Papaws house. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!!

This year, at Parker's school, it was required for al students to either chose orchestra, band, or choir. Parker chose to take band, and chose to play the trumpet. He has done exceptionally well, and is already playing songs that other students haven't even learned yet. His band teacher even sent me a personal email the other day, bragging on how fast Parker is learning, and how good he already is being his first year playing.....anyways, I am so proud of his accomplishments this year, especially going from grade school straight into a junior high school setting. Just this year, there are no longer junior high's, but only grade school's k-5th, middle school 6th-8th, and highschool 9th-12th. I was really scared of the changes at first, because there was several middle school's which only had 6th grade in them, and then they went to junior high, so it was a big adjustment for teachers and students, but the students and teachers have adjusted and the school year is going great. Jackson and Chandler are still doing exceptional at school, and it so nice to not have to worry about my any of my son's grades, of course that could one day change, but I have faith in them. Ash and I are in awe of how all three boys do so well in school, and we are soooooooooo proud of them all. The boys are looking forward to Christmas, and I almost have all of my shopping finished, just a couple more things to to get each one of them, then I am all done...whew!! I am posting some pictures taken at Parker's first Band concert, and will post more after the holidays.

Much Needed Update!!

Well....it has been since the summer since I have updated, so I finally have the time to update. First off, Parker turned 12 on Oct. 17th and I can't believe that he has one more year until he is a teenager. We are so proud of the young man he has become, and proud of all of his accomplishments. WE LOVE YOU PARKER!!! Also, Jackson turned 10 on Oct. 29th. We are very proud of Jackson as well, and he is such a loving and fun person to be around. WE LOVE YOU JACKSON!!!! I have been so crazy busy with my college courses this semester that any spare time I have, once the kids are in bed, I spend on the computer writing papers, doing homework, or just simply reading. December 5th is the last do of classes for me, and then I will completely get to enjoy the holidays with a month and a half off until Spring semester starts YAY!!! I am also posting some pictures of the wrestlers the boys got to meet backstage at a wrestling show in Batesville that Greg's radio station he works at hosted. It was a once in a lifetime chance to let the boys get up close and personal with the wrestlers and they were actually super nice!! I am also posting pics from Halloween which the boys enjoyed.

OH ......on some of Parker's birthday pics, something was going on with my camera and they turned out very blurry, but I sure didn't want to delete them.

Fourth of July Fun, and Parker's First Year At Bible Camp

We had a great time this year on the 4th. We had cook-out at Mom and Dad's house, which was delicious!! Greg, Sandy, Justin came down from Batesville, and mine and Greg's Dad came from Alabama. It was a busy week getting prepared for all the company, besides cleaning house, I had to get Parker all packed up for his week long stay at Green Valley Bible Camp. This was his first year to go with our church, and I was so nervous, but excited for him. The church camp is out by the lake, so anyone can go to the evening devotionals at 7pm and check and see how your kids are doing. The first night, Parker was very homesick, but decided to stay one more night and if he was still homesick, I would pick him up on Tuesday. When I got to camp Tuesday evening, he came up to me and said, " Mom I'm good, I love it!" I was hoping he would feel better, and so relieved. I went to the same church camp when I was in our church's youth group, and It took me a day or so, but then I didn't want to leave. Also, on the last night of camp which is Friday night, all of the boys usually ask a girl that they like to walk up the "big hill," which at the top they do a last night of camp devotional, roast marshmallows, and do a ceremony for all the seniors that won't be returning next year. I got a call on Thursday evening from our preacher's wife, which their granddaughter whom is Parker's age was attending camp as well, and she told me that Jackie, our preacher, had been out to camp that day and his granddaughter, Madison, ran up to him so excited and told him that Parker had asked her to be his date for the Friday night devotional. I had told Parker before he went to camp that it is a camp tradition that the boys will ask a girl to go, but not all of them do, and he didn't have to. Being as shy as Parker is around new people, I really didn't think he would ask anyone, which I was glad when I heard who he had asked. Madison is such a cutie, and a great kid. So, he had a great time and is already looking forward to going back next year. I can already tell school will be starting soon, only one month left of summer until it does, for the boys and me. I just got letters from the boy's schools the other day with the lists of everything they will need for each grade, so I will be shopping for school supplies soon....can't believe how fast the summer has gone by, but we have had a lot of fun. I have posted some pics from the 4th, and a couple of Parker and his new friends from camp.

Summertime Fun

Lately we have had lots of fun things to do. Last week we took the boys to Pump It Up which is a really neat place with nothing but huge bouncy stuff to slide down, jump on, and jump in. We have been doing lots of swimming, we went to Lake Atalanta which has a good size playground and tons of ducks to feed, and this week was our church's Vacation Bible School. So we have been busy, but having a great time. I have been enjoying getting to stay home with the kids and not having to worry about College work. I have posted some pictures of the boys having lots of fun!! We are looking forward to celebrating the 4th of July next week!!

Boys and Baseball

Chandler is playing in his first year of baseball this year. It is coach pitch ball, and he is learning and doing well at it. He always asks me what day it is to see if he has a game, or practice to go to. Parker and Jackson did not want to play this year, and after going to a couple of games, and playing baseball in the backyard, which is quite often, (even me and Ash play) I think they have regretted not having me sign them up and now it's too late :( . But, both of them did say that they wanted to play fall soccer so I will be signing them up for that, and next year, I bet they won't say no when I ask them if they want to play baseball. All three are looking forward to school being out, their last day is June 3rd and they are so excited. We have a big church cookout to go to the day after school, which they always enjoy. They have tons of food, games, and huge blow up slides, and jumpy things for everyone to play in. Both Chandler and Parker lost a tooth this week. Chandler lost his second tooth which is his bottom, middle right tooth, and Parker has been losing his baby molars lately. He lost another baby molar about 4 weeks ago and he just tells me they are lose, and a day or so later he will run up to me and show me that he has pulled it out....too funny. Ash is being baptised on Monday into our church which we are all so proud of, and will officially make him a member of the church. He feels great about it, and we are all so proud, and feel so blessed with all that God has blessed our family with. I am posting a few of Chandler's baseball pics and some of the all the boys.

Our family enjoyed Easter Sunday....but, Ash had to work :( So he missed out on the boys waking up to see what the Easter Bunny brought them. He did however get to hide some eggs for them when he got home from work, and enjoyed watching them find the eggs. We ate Easter dinner at Mom and Dads and it was Yummy!! The pics of the boys I have posted is when they first woke up, so they definetly have some bed head going on. They received lots of candy, a spiderman poster coloring kit, and the game of Trouble from the Easter bunny......lots of Fun!!!

On Sunday we celebrated Chandler's 6th birthday, he doesn't actually turn 6 until Thursday, but we went ahead and had his party this weekend. He wanted a wrestling cake (unbelievably ;) ) and I couldn't find anyone who would make one. Mom used to make all of the boys birthday cakes when they were little and she hadn't made one in a few years, so Ash and I drew her out a design of a wrestling ring and she did and AWESOME job on his cake. Chandler got lots of cool stuff including a fisher price digital camera (which Melissa I know you will remember how much he loved Carsons)...and a spiderman learning laptop computer, a big wrestling elimination chamber for his wrestlers, some shopping money, and more wrestlers of course. Happy Birthday Chandler....we love you and are so proud of you!!!!

Snow Day!!

Early this morning it started to snow and by 7am there was a couple of inches of snow on the ground. It is now 6pm and we have gotten quite a bit more... and it is still snowing. All the schools were cancelled today, including mine, and the boys had a great time getting to stay home, and ....school has already been cancelled for tomorrow so we get an extra long weekend. I took some pics of the boys having some fun in the snow. Enjoy!!

Christmas and a Marriage

Been since Halloween since I've posted and a lot has happened. Christmas was wonderful. All of our family was down except for Greg and his family, and we celebrated Nanny and Papaw's 60th wedding anniversary on Christmas eve. On Monday, January 7th, Ash and I were finally married after 7 yrs. of being together. So, I have lots of pics to post!!!

Two Birthdays!!

On October 17th Parker turned 11, and we had his party last weekend. Tomorrow on the 29th Jackson turns 9 and we had his party this weekend. So, 2 parties two weekends in a row....lots of fun!! I have always done both their parties together since their birthdays are so close, so this year was the first time that I did two seperate parties since Jackson was 3. They are growing so fast and we decided this year to start having their parties seperate, which they really enjoyed!! I have posted some pics from each of their parties, and also a funny one of GeeGee and Papaw before they went to a Halloween party on Friday night. Happy Birthday Parker and Jackson....we are so proud of the both of you and Love you VERY much!!!! Love, Mom and Dad.

Goodness.......I didn't realize how long it had been since I had last posted. Things have been really busy with my college hours, the kids school, and other activities. I was elected onto the boys' school PTO board, so that has added some big responsiblites with the kids school. College is going great so far......I was taking 17 hrs when I started, but I had to drop to 15 hrs. b/c of my hectic schedule with the PTO stuff being added, plus I am a homeroom mom in ALL of the boys classes......CRAZY....but FUN!! Parker won an academic award on Friday, and Chandler won the Grace Hill Elementary High Fyler award which was so neat being that Chandler is only in Kindergarten. Jackson's teacher told me he was getting the High Flyer Award at the next assembly ......so I am SOOOOO PROUD of my boys!!! Yay!! We also have a busy month ahead with Parker and Jackson's birthdays, then Halloween. Not to leave out that the kids will be riding in the homecoming parade that Rogers has. Each Elementary school decorates a float and Ash and I will be pulling the float with some teachers, other students, us PTO members and the boys. It should be fun!! We pulled the float in the Christmas parade last year, but never have done the Homecoming Parade, it is during the day in downtown Rogers at 3:30pm so hopefully it wont be terribly long with traffic and all. OH that reminds me that I had my first wreck 2 weeks ago on the way to school. All the cars ahead of me started slamming on their breaks and I hit a brand new subburban that was in front of me, nobody was hurt :) and I knew the girl driving....she goes to our church. Anyways....It was ultimatly my fault since I rearended her ( which barely did any damage to her vehicle, but you can about imagine what it did to our Durango) ....Good news is our insurance covered it and we got a new Ford Expedition, Fully Loaded with CD player....(but we didnt get one with the built in DVD players...sooo exspensive) but that was the only thing that the Expedition doesnt have.......and I LOVE It!!!! Sooooo much room and it is white with tan interior and all leather......the nicest vehicle I have ever had .....so it sure didnt take me long to get used to it...:). Anyways that is a shortened update of things that have been going on........I will try to post more often. I have added a few pics!! I have also posted a video of Chandler's Kindergarten Concert....he is on the back row standing next to a tall little girl with a red shirt and red bow on.

1st Day of School

Yesterday was the first day of school for the boys.....and my first day back to school for my 2nd year (sophmore year). The boys were soooo excited and loved their teachers....we had meet them the Friday before at Meet the Teachers night at their school. This year Chandler started Kindergarten and after walking him to his class yesterday morning.......I started to cry...(like I did with the other 2)....but my last and youngest child was starting kindergarten and it hit me that this would be the last time that I ever take one of my children to start their first day of kindergarten.... :(.......but Chandler did GREAT.....he was sooo excited and marched in there like a big boy. This will be the only year that all 3 of my kids are in the same school. This is Parker's last year at elementary school.....UNBELIEVABLE HOW TIME FLIES........he is in the 5th grade this year so.....he will be in Middle school next year. But, it will be nice this year picking them up from school ...at the same school. :) My schedule is going to consist of going to classes Monday thru Friday....I was signed up to take 17 hrs....but I got scared and dropped one of them and now I am taking 5 classes that equals 15 hrs instead. I get out everyday about an hour to 2 hours before I have to pick up the boys from school..depending on which day it is. It is nice though, we live right down the road from the elementary school.....and the college is right down the road (about 3 miles) from the elementary school......so all within 6 mile radius which is awesome. I am posting a couple of pics of the boys first day of school.....probably won't be posting as much due to the "busy,busy" schedules and activities that comes with 3 boys and school....but I will try to atleast once every 2 weeks. :) Brittney

My Newest Nephew........Isaac Asher Bridgman

My youngest brother, Adam Bridgman, and his wife April had their first son.......Isaac Asher Bridgman...on Wednesday August, 8th. He is a big healthy baby and weighed in at 8lbs.3 oz. Adam is my half brother, and lives in Alabama. He just completed his Masters degree (in Biblical Studies, Theology or something like that) and got a job as the youth minister in a big Church of Christ Church in Alabama, about an hour and a half away from my Dad and Step Mom. I wish I could be there.....but, with school fixing to start and 3 boys it is hard for us to get away....but we are sure thinking about Adam,April, and their new son Isaac. We love them very much and sure wish we could be there with them.

Jackson's Broken Finger

A few weeks ago, before we went on vacation, Jackson had jammed his finger when he was playing, or atleast Ash and I thought it was jammed. He was still able to wiggle it and move it around, so we decided to give it a few weeks to heal, being thats how long it can take for a jammed finger to heal. The swealing on it had gotten a little better, then it would swell up again. So, being that it had been 2 weeks, I decided to take him to his pediatrician today. His Dr. thought it was just a jammed finger as well, but decided to go ahead and x-ray it........and behold it was broken at the base of his pinky finger, right above his knuckle. I couldnt believe it. I felt so horrible for not taking him in right away, but the Dr. said that he wouldve thought that it was just a jammed finger as well, but I still feel bad. Bless his heart. Out of all 3 of my boys, he is the one that either gets sick, or injured. Poor Guy!! They put a brace that covers his arm and hand, he can only remove it for showers or swimming. He is going to have to wear it for atleast a month!! But, the brighter side is that the fracture was on his left hand, he is right handed and school is about to start. I took a couple of pictures of him in his brace and he acts so proud of it.....lol. Our scanner is broken and the only pictures I can post at this time is the ones we took right before we pulled out of the driveway to leave on our trip. My Dad from Alabama went with us, and the kids really enjoyed having their Grandpa here......and Ash and I enjoyed having him visit us as well. He visits atleast twice a year, sometimes more....and we all LOVE him and enjoy his company. So......here are the few pictures that we took on our digital camera before we left for Branson and a couple of Jackson in his Brace. Bless his heart......Brittney

Well I havent posted in a while.............we didnt want to take our digital camera inside Silver Dollar City.......(because of how wet it couldve gotten)....so we took disposable camera's and......for some reason my scanner is not working correctly so I have been unable to scan them in. But as soon as I can figure it out I've got some great pictures to post.......the kids had lots of fun and so did we. The rides were great......and the kids LOVED the Nickelodeon Water Park. I think what they call the "Log Ride" was their favorite. It fit all 5 of us in it and you go up really high and then it bursts you down a HUGE water slide........we all got wet!! It was alot of fun. Ash is working on the scanner so we should be able to post the pics soon. Brittney

More Summer Fun

This week we are taking it easy.......we leave to go to Branson, Missouri,next weekend,to take the kids to Silver Dollar City and some other fun stuff. So, I have been cleaning house, catching up on laundry and things of that sort. Me and the kids have been going to the pool while Ash is working during the day, and at night we play games, rent movies, and stuff like that. I am posting a few more pictures of the kids at the pool having fun, I will have some new pics to post next week once we get back from vacation. Have a good week everyone!!!!

Well, last Saturday Parker left for Texas to see the grandparents..and we have missed him sooooooo much. He comes back home tonight, late, and the boys are sooo excited. Jackson just wouldnt go with him this year he said, "I get homesick Momma," ... too cute. But, the boys wanted to go and see the new Harry Potter movie, it came to theatres Wednesday. They loved it!!! Parker got to see it while he was in Texas, so, Ash and I thought we would go ahead and take Chandler and Jackson while he was gone. They had a great time...and the movie was really good. The Harry Potter movies are some of my favorite kid movies, so I was just as excited...lol. Anyways I posted a couple of pics that the boys wanted me to take of them before we went to the movie..........and we sure have missed you Parker!!!

Happy Independence Day everyone!!! We have had a great week, Cary, Melissa, and their 2 sons, Carson and Caden, and also Stephanie are all down for the week. We have had great fun!! This is the first time we have seen Caden since he was born and it has been a year since we have seen everyone. On the 4th the family got together and had a big 4th of July feast, it was yummy!! We all swam and then Ash and Cary put on a firework show for all of us to watch. We are all enjoying the time we are spending with the family and I have some great photos to post.

Fun At The Pool

Today was the first day that the boys were able to swim in GeeGee and Papaw's pool. Ash worked very hard on repainting it and getting it ready for the summer. The water was still a little cold, but kids being kids, they wanted to go for it anyways. Parker was trying to learn how to dive last year and never quite did, but today, he just dove right in off the diving board. He was so proud of himself, and I was too. Chandler, being the daring boy that he is, went right up to the diving board and jumped in first thing. Jackson, being my cautious son, took a while before he would jump off the diving board (although he jumped off of it all year last year) lol, but, he finally did and was proud of himself. It is sooo great living one street over from GeeGee and Papaw, and will enjoy being able to walk, ride our bikes, or even drive right over there anytime. Anyways, the boys had a great time, and I've posted a few GREAT pictures I took of them swimming.

Church Cook-Out

Our church had a cook-out after school, on the last day of school. They had a bunch of huge blow up slides, mazes, and other stuff. Mom and I took the kids to the cook-out, and they had a great time. Today was the boys last day at school. They were sooooo excited!! Ash and I are excited as well. I am out of school for the summer and looking forward to spending it with my family. Parker, Jackson, and Chandler are looking forward to it as well. Now if we can only get their Papaw and GeeGee to hurry up and get that swimming pool open!!! Then we will be set. We have a few plans for the summer, a trip to Branson the last weekend in July, and Cary, Melissa, Carson, Caden, and Stephanie are coming down for a week over the 4th of July holiday. We have not seen Caden since he was born so we are so excited about seeing all of them. This is my first blog, and I will be posting once a week.
